why doesn't anyone create a jrpg with online co op?
Most rpgs are a huge undertaking expecially for indie developers who usually have little resources. Adding coop or online multiplayer to games such as this is sometimes too time consuming. Especially when that time can be better spent improving the quality of the story or quests.
Have to think it would pay off ten fold in the long run.
I agree that a lot of the time single player games are higher quality but there' so many classic old console rpgs. To each their own.
