New units: Berserker and Silverlight news - Riftforge Game

As an online RPG based on tactical combat, Riftforge continuously adds new and interesting units to its roster. This month we're introducing six new units at the elite level. Starting with the tanky units first:

Berserkers

The artic weather of Manirak has taken care the no one can get into battle naked, even the Berserkers. So these elite Guardians had to focus on the "other" key aspect of their namesakes - manic fighting, usually with the help of a generous quantity of firewater.

Regardless of the level of intoxication, however, the Berserkers have no illusions about the Berseker's mythic ability to blunt the enemy's weapons with a single stare. So they add quite a few layers of armor on top of "Odin's spiritual protection".

Silverlight

The Silverlight are assigned to the Sisterhood to act as protectors. They are the Riftforge’s only real “knights in shining armor”. The adverse weather conditions on Manirak, however, have put quite a strain on keeping the metal armor in its immaculate condition.

The other elite troopers say that if the Silverlight spent any more time cleaning and polishing, they should be moved to the Sisterhood’s maid quarters.
