Description
Captain Sillah Dassim started as a foot soldier and was quickly promoted to the heavy infantry, leading the elite, all-female unit Shieldmaidens.
Dassim was one of the Guardian commanders that pioneered the use of mounted Guardians as shock troops. The development of Hammer and anvil tactics resulted in swift and decisive victories even when facing overwhelming enemy numbers.
Dassim's reputation for leaving no man (or woman) behind made her more and more popular with the soldiers. When her predecessor died in combat, she won the popular vote by a wide margin.
