Actualy in early development, Règlement de Comptes is a 2D platformer game combined with maths. Initialy developped during the Epic Mega Jam, it launched me to the top 10 games (over +100) and many guys encouraged me to polish and publish it. So that's what I do ^^

Many many things are going to be changed until the final version, many levels are going to be added and so on. Here is a demo you can try just to know if there is no big problems with the actual core gameplay or the game itself. I'd love you if you tell me in comments about the bugs you got or the improvements I can make on graphics, sounds, gameplay, level design or optimisation <3

You can also post your best scores in the comments :) . The first one who reaches the end of the 5th level and post a screen proof in the comments or on twitter will get a very special ingame content that every players will see!!! ;p

--> Challenge closed! Arthur #SzmaKS, a fu*** insane pro player just finished the most hardcore level in less than 2 hours in the hardest maths mode!!!!! 8O As I promised he will get a very special in game content ;) (I can't tell you exactly what cause HE will CHOOSE!)

Here are the actual known problems you could get while running the game:

  • BUG > remaining time until fix
  • game detected as virus by avast (tell me if you have this problem with an other antivirus) > ?
  • strange delays from dynamic elements on the first loop after each retry > 24 sept 2017 (--> used custom delays to fix this)
  • character pass through the elevator (due to low framerate -> give me your pc config) > ?
  • hitbox of flamethrower not totally accurate > 24 sept 2017 (--> calcul the flame propagation and modify the collision box scale and position to follow it)
  • multiple instances of dialog if start button is pressed many times > 24 sept 2017 (--> mouse input disabled after the first clic on start button)
  • some falling ground don't fall when we walk over > 24 sept 2017 (--> used custom delays to fix this)

And here is the new content I'll work on during the next weeks:

  • ingame help and tips > 24 sept 2017 (going to be improved in further releases)
  • adding a new level every week > every week (--> little bit late but I want to polish every aspect and verify if there is no bug)
  • new gameplay elements > each time it's needed (--> many new content with the 5th level :D )
  • create platform difficulty button > +14 oct 2017
  • totally change the menu > +4 nov 2017
  • add levels against the teacher > +4 nov 2017
  • create cinematics > far

Tested last Monday at the live demo. A really cool and inventive game ! Pretty challenging but very fun to try again and again. (Getting this game earlier in my life could have helped me to love maths, meh)

All my support for this very nice idea that is fairly simple but amazingly effective, has the potential to become a must-have!

Obviously and according to the feedback of actual players, I'll create a "difficulty button" in order to let you test your limits or just enjoy the concept ;)
In further releases, I'll try to programm an automatic adaptative difficulty in order to keep you under pressure without killing you. In that way, gameplay is going to be even more intense! :D
