Five months ago we've released our first title, a platform game – Stonerid. After that, we decided to create something completely different. One problem was a fact, that Microsoft abandoned XNA Game Studio. However, Unity Technologies released a new version of their engine, which supports 2D. We don't have any previous experience with Unity, but we decided to try it. Now, we would like to announce our new game – Razenroth.
It's a top-down perspective, action game, with roguelike and RPG elements. All levels, weather conditions, arrangement and amount of elements, are randomly generated. Each time you play, the game looks different, our goal is to provide unique and dark mood. We want to create over 200 items, like spells, magic potions, skills and equipment. Additionally there will be dozens of monsters, and a few bosses.
The main hero – Charles Carter, is a young journalist, who must to face the mysterious curse, thrown on his family. He decides to enter the world of nightmares, inhabited by frightening creatures.
Razenroth will be available for Windows, Mac and Linux. We plan to relase the game this year, but it's too early to give an exact date. For more information visit our website – enitvare.com.
