2 new forums have been opened up and provide details on races and factions at play in the Fury galaxy. Stop by have a read and leave your comments, suggestions, etc. The threads placed at the moment will have there main entry updated as needed. We will add posts for the remaining factions and races in the galaxy as time goes on. Now is the time to give your feed back; these logs are from design materials and much of the story detail is still under construction.

It’s been some time since we have posted fresh news; that’s because we have been heads down applying your feed back to the game :)
A new vid is currently uploading to YouTube and will be uploaded here on IndieDB shortly thereafter. You can find it at (https://youtu.be/1vL7MdX7hzU); this gives a high level view of the mod system which in short is an assembly and unity package that will allow you to build custom events, modify event stages, preview custom ships, dialogs, etc. then export to them to a format that can be consumed by the production version of the game.
We are still in development on this feature but have completed our first round of testing (proof of concept) and the results are looking good.
In addition to mod support we have also made changes to the games scale i.e. we are now a more “realistic” scale i.e. you 75m Corvette is accurately scaled to your 3000m Gar physics calculations are also “to scale” which gives a much bigger feel to the game. We have capped ship size to around 3k much bigger and your camera has to pull back so far the smaller ships become hard to see. Weapon ranges are also affected and this called for a big change in the AI previously our scaling allowed good combat mechanics at about 2k away our current scale is geared more around 10-15k ranges giving more flight time between ships and opening up new tactics on the battle field. We haven’t forgot the small scale; ships around 50-75m are the smallest you will fly with speeds upward of 500m/s and tight handling they can slip under long range fire pretty easy and still pack enough punch to work over the bigger ships with some skill and or numbers.

• Fighter
• Corvette
• Frigate
• Cruiser
• Battlecruiser
• Battleship
• Dreadnought
• Carrier
• Fortress
• Gar
Weapon types have been reclassified and now include
• Projectiles aka guns/blasters
• Beams aka rays/lasers
• Launched aka rockets/missiles
• Dropped aka mines/turrets
