Nice game, what language you used to make this?

I'm wondering what engine you used to make this.
This looks very good too!

Thanks! I've written the engine myself, and plan to expand upon it in the future.

That's awesome! I've always like this style of fps games since I first tried Wolfenstein 3d and I've always wanted to make my own. I just can't seem to find any engines to suit my needs.

I'm keeping an eye on this game until release.

Thanks for the support!

And I'd recommend taking a look at modding Wolfenstein 3D or learning an entry level programming language like DarkBasic.

In fact, I own DarkBasic as well as DarkBasic Pro, but I've never gotten a chance to learn it. I really need to find the time.

How would I be able to mod Wolfenstein? Is there certain software that you'd recommend?

Good game, but guards are really over powered.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm aiming to include a choice of difficulty settings in the final game, and may adjust the enemies for the next demo. Thanks for playing!

Also, another thing for the guards, they are difficult to kill while they are shooting at you, but they are basically sitting ducks. Could they probably have a bit of movement in them? IE Moving left and right while they fire at you?

I've experimented with them moving around, it just depends on bug squishing and creating more animations.

Prisoner was originally intended to be a short and simple game that'd be developed over a couple of months before selling at a low price point, and I don't want to get too far from that as I have other projects I'd like to develop and I wouldn't wanna have to charge much more for it.

We'll see!

Ahh, I understand. Just my opinion, after all! I'm sure you won't go too much into this subject just yet, but I must ask: What are you going to work on next after Prisoner?

I have a few ideas that I'm keen to explore, but it may depend on the reaction to Prisoner as to how I prioritise them.
