Olvand is a little multiplayer sandbox RPG, where the players live in self-built towns and can go on all kinds of adventures together. Imagine living with your friends in a small town in the mountains, or creating a new group of friends in a pub in the metropole you all live in. There will be several mini-games the inhabitants of a server can play together, among which will be combat based games like King of the Hill or Capture the Flag. You will be able to play against other people in your city, or as a city against another city, or as a whole server against another server. The combat works with self-built guns, in which all kinds of powers can be combined to create unique effects.

Not a crash, but the game is unplayable due to this. | Locked | |

Whenever I try to log onto a server (the only one up, TestServer1), I get this screen: "#World data incoming..." continuously gets sent, but I don't actually get in game, I'm just stuck on this screen. I was able to log in and play a bit before I encountered this, but I was kicked to the server choosing screen and I couldn't click anything so I closed the main window without closing the console (accidentally) and reopened a whole new instance of Olvand to attempt to log on again, and then I started encountering this bug. It happens every time I try to log in. |

Hi, thanks for the bug report! Looks like the server crashed already. I asked volunteer TomasOlsen to revive it, but for now you'll have to set up your own server! |

Yeah, I found out that that works. Unfortunately, I can't portforward, but I CAN get a feel for the game. EDIT: Hopefully this is useful: My server instance crashed as I was walking north. Edited by: Noahz0r |

Thanks a lot, this actually helped me discover AND fix the problem: because of some new code, the server software crashed each time a new player entered. I already uploaded a hotfix; once Desura accepts it and everyone is updated, the problem will (hopefully) never occur again. Again, thanks! Edited by: Woseseltops |

No problem, just doing my part. Got another bug for you, I put two fire olbs in the same gun, in the left click slot and the one right above that and the game crashed after left-clicking to fire the gun. Thanks! I tried to reproduce it by starting a new game, putting two fire olbs in the gun at the position you described, and left clicking, but I didn't have any problems. This means there must be something else which influences this error. Did you do anything special, during or right before the firing? Where in the game window did you click (roughly), for example? |

I'll try to reproduce that error. |
