Welcome to the IndieDB page of Nocturne: Song of Darkness!
Let me introduce myself!
I go by the name Draulon online, and I am an Indie Game developer, and have worked with multiple engines, such as Unity, UDK, Cryengine, and several others. I also have several projects which I work on, such as Voltiac, Fierce Eternity, and other titles, but those aren't released yet. So far I spent 4 years in the game dev industry, and I decided I finally compile my knowledge into a game I enjoy working on, and release it, hopefully - with success.
What is this about?
This game, Nocturn, is a very special game I have been working on for months now.
An RPG, with a good bit of action, adventure, and puzzles.
Basically, I am trying to bring back the feeling of those "good old golden RPG games".
That's one of the reasons I don't make realistic graphics for the game, what I am aiming for, is an eye-pleasing, fantasy and a bit unreal graphics.
I follow the saying "Graphics don't need to be realistic to be beautiful"
PLEASE READ: The video doesn't contain gameplay, as it isn't fully finished yet.

A full 3D world, with WASD movement, jumping, teleporting, running and combat.
As to combat, an important aspect to the game is that the combat system is based on choice, there aren't any predefined archer, mage or warrior classes.
Wars have become stories, stories have become fables, and fables have become myths.
It has been a long time since any major turmoil in the land of Achryael, last wars have been thousands of years ago, and have no importance anymore to Valor - or any other simple man in the land.
Now, who is Valor?
Valor is a loyal servant of the kingdom, doing his regular checkup on the neighboring towns of the castle he serves at.
During his checkup, a mysterious creature attacks him, wounding him bad, when suddenly a strange woman saves him.
The woman disappears in a matter of seconds after the fight, and only leaves the corpse of the dead creature.
What path will you, as Valor take?
Will you search for the woman? Identify the creature? All these choices will be up to you in Nocturn: Song of Darkness.
When will it be released - What platforms will it support?
I plan on releasing it hopefully at least by the end of the year, due to significant updates and improvements.
It will support Windows, Mac and possibly Linux too.

Sorry for not updating Nocturn guys, I am working on another game, called Voltiac (Will have an IndieDB page soon), to get funds enough to get specs for Nocturn.
The project is temporarily on hold but will resume soon!
Voltiac is a stealth multiplayer shooter, you can imagine DayZ (Large maps) and Battlefield 3 (Might be bit of an overstatement, but the destruction part)
The gameplay heavily relies on strategy and your senses to find the enemy.
