Many difficulty choices
Each song has many levels of difficulty, allowing players of any skill to play songs that suit their taste.
Fail no more
Performing poorly doesn’t end the game–we just reduce the difficulty while you’re playing.
Save your progress
Use your Unit-e account to save scores, track your progress, and compete internationally!
Beginner mode
Is this your first music game? We reduce the number of buttons and are much less strict on timing.
New tracks every week!
Every week we release new music to the game. Check in on your favorite arcade often to see what’s new!
Try before you buy
Players can sample songs before they even put coins into the machine!Pay per song, not per set
Jukebox-style song selection means you’ll always have enough spare change to play a song or two!
Online multiplayer
Neon FM machines each support one player, and multiple machines can be linked to support infinite simultaneous players. Players can also choose to not compete at all and do their own thing!
Slim design
With its svelte width, Neon FM leaves plenty of room in the arcade for multiple machines.
Premium selections
Songs can be priced separately by arcade operators. This allows us to provide licensed mainstream tracks at a premium to casual players, while still providing an inexpensive core experience to seasoned gamers.
Smartphone login
Neon FM uses the same proprietary QR login system as Cardiac™ to quickly personalize your game experience. Just point and shoot with your phone to log in!
Online updates
Machines will periodically receive updates from our servers containing fixes and new content. Even new mixes and any sequels can be delivered electronically!
Two ticket redemption modes
“Roulette” redemption mode allows players to earn spins on a prize wheel with high scores. Optional “skill” redemption mode awards tickets directly, should local laws require it.
Mobile version planned for Spring 2015.
Mobile versions are on the way after we finish our core arcade feature set. More details coming soon.
Happy new year, Neon nation! Some great updates for you all today:
► Framerate dramatically improved
We’ve rewritten a large part of the gameplay code to improve performance, so the game should almost always look smooth now.
► Gameplay graphics improved
The blue “track” in gameplay is now shinier and prettier. Also some minor graphic tweaks, such as non-perfect note hits no longer flashing the track.
► Timing window adjustments
The timing window has been narrowed by 25%, and the timing “needle” that shows early/late hits also reacts more dramatically to inputs.
► Bug with Notes and Holds in close proximity fixed
Fixed a bug where a note near the beginning of a chain of hold notes would “miss” too early.
Notescores added, multiplayer name cards added, hold button added to netplay queuing, and wi-fi connection improvements.
