Intro

This week Kando Corp has been working hard on a new project named Ministry Of Power. It is a multiplatform action RPG dungeon crawler inspired by games like Diablo and Torchlight with a Steampunk style setting. The games team currently is made up of 4 members who are working 7 days a week on it at the moment. We will be posting weekly updates on how the game is progressing and more information will be released each day about different aspects of the game.

Please know that these are all subject to change as we go along and balance the game.

Roles

Todays update is about some of the classes. In the game there are currently 6 classes which can each specialise in 2 types of roles.

There are 4 roles to fill all together which are:
-Tank
-Damage Dealer
-Healer
-Support

Today we are going to discuss the basics of 2 of the classes.

Marksman

The Marksman can either play as a Tank or Damage Dealer. When playing as a Tank Marksman use their pets to pull and retain aggro from the monsters while applying small amounts of damage over time to them as well. You will have to manage your pet skills at the same time as managing your character skills. When playing as a Damage Dealer you primarily use ranged weapons to deal long range damage and have pets join in on your abilities to create extra effects on your standard abilities for a short amount of time. This can be anything from a normal burst damage skill changing into a burst damage with a slow over time effect after it.

Templar

Templars can play as either a Tank or Damage Dealer as well. When playing as a Tank Templar know when to use your damage reduction and dodge abilities is a must. Each successful dodge or block will empower your defense even further during the fight allowing you to build up your defense over time. However when the big hits come you can sacrifice some of the stacks to do things like reduce all incoming damage for 5 seconds by 33%(example). This means you will have to balance your defense stacks and know when to use them creating more player skill rather than just standing taunting. The second role Templars can be is a Damage Dealer. When Templars are in this role they gain rage stacks rather than defense stacks and again there damage will improve throughout the fight and you can spend them to deal bigger amounts of damage or in some cases change the effect of the skills used.

Thats us for today but we will have another post up next week so remember and hit that track button to keep up to date with the information.
We hope this gives you a nice insight to the first few classes in the game and we always look forward to your feedback, so leave us a message or track us to keep up to date with the information!
