Mercatorio is a great economic game, with a true market and no money sinks or taps (besides minting money). The many buildings and production methods in it mean that there's several different playstyles one can choose, and strong competition both from players and bots always keeps you on your toes. The game is still in development, but the dev is very active, and if you point out an issue to him, it's usually fixed within the same day. Similarly, if you have an idea on how to make the game better, he usually incorporates those in an update.
