Hi everyone! We've been receiving comments about chatting in-game. We didn't realize that it wasn't introduced to you in-game yet, so that will need to be fixed, but for now, it's Y to all-talk and T to team-talk. Thanks for the feedback! We truly appreciate all the useful feedback, and it's great to see people enjoying the game.

You'll also notice we've added a new gameplay video on our videos page, be sure to check that out if you want to see what a Mageball match looks like!

Hi I wanted to reply again to say thanks!

I'm glad that I was of some use to you!
And thank you for telling me how to chat!

And yeah I understand the shield now and how it's for team purposes! So I don't think that spell shield thing I said before is needed.

I also wanted to suggest this:
SHIFT (tap) = Walk On/Off or SHIFT (hold)

This is just so I have an easier time moving around the map.
On Drago Mines I sort of had a hard time crossing the rails because I couldn't control myself effectively.

Finally got 4 people to play with me and it was fun!

Great to hear that! The shift to walk is interesting. I could see some people using it to fake-out people trying to chase them too, neat idea!

This game is awesome, but it needs a faster way to absorb mana maybe by taking energy from fire and ice crystals all over the map. It also needs more teams to choose from the teams are randomly decided at start of round and the map shifts in correspondance with the type (i.e. we're at whitedagger pass, the game picks ice and electric as the choosable teams and the maps change theme to electric on one side and ice on the other).
Needs more customization options we look too much alike but the identity concealment is good just add more cloak meshes and a girl body as well as a male body. The only other thing is that you make it so you can shoot with your right and left hands (switch hands by scrolling). That way you can hold the ball in one hand and have one hand free to shoot because I usually can only get up to 3 people playing with me (I play LAN at school) and that makes it almost impossible to score.
Thanks for reading and please add some of these (especially the right and left hand switch)
One of the most original and best games I've ever played.

Thanks a ton for the feedback! I've responded in part to this below. We thought about adding more teams at the time, but didn't have the resources to make it happen. That's definitely a good idea for expanding on this in the future.

It's me again a few more things I wanted to add:
1) If you add the switch hands, make it easier to make them fumble. Losing half their health makes them fumble or being hit with a special spell. Make it so jump boost and speed boost can hurt people if they touch you when you do that.
2) When your health goes to zero you fall on the ground confused for about 7 seconds. Rapid clicking mouse makes you get up faster.
3) Spellbook: You gain currency for every fumble, goal, and knockdown (what I'm calling your health falling to zero and you fall down confused). You can press b to access your spellbook. You can buy more spells with the currency you earn and you can a max two equipped. This resets if you enter a different server (if the server closes you lose all progress on that server, but you can leave and come back with progress). Progression makes people stay longer. Oh yeah and add plenty of spells to keep things fresh :D
4) Chat(All) needs to be ENTER key! I can't figure out how to chat! If you can't chat so all can here you you need to be able to!
5) Add spell shield. Spell shield can be toggled with f key. Drains mana when used but can block attacks. If a baddie runs into it they get hurt!
6) BOTS: This game definitely needs AI.
7) Mouse Sensitivity: Add this option. Also make it so turning abruptly or really fast makes your vision blur for a second.

I assume you'll be adding more server editing. Like max player count, time limit, etc.
Still a great game!

Thanks for the feedback! Just so you know, it's Y to Chat(All) and T to Chat(Team). I see now that we don't show that in the controls, we'll have to change that! But making it the Enter key as well is a good idea.

We do have a spell shield, but it's one of the spells (Buddy Shield), where you have to right click and hold while the target is directly over a teammate, which makes them invulnerable while it's on. We do it like this to increase team-play.

Love the spell-book idea, progression is definitely good for keeping players coming back. I really like this, thanks!

The game definitely could use some bots, it's just a big undertaking to make them work for this game, maybe sometime in the future :-)

We can look into the switching hands, it's not a bad thought.

Thanks again for all the feedback!

Lol I have two more suggestions I promise this is the last one.
I suggested adding an acrobatic dodging system so that it's easier to dodge spells since it is too easy to be hit right now.
Pressing R makes you go into dodging mode which makes the camera go third person. You can only do primary attacks in this mode and while in this mode:
Double tapping A or D keys makes you do a sideflip. Double tapping W makes you roll forward. Double tapping S makes you backflip.

If you do this without dodging mode you'll just move to the side, back, or front fast and you don't go as far.

Lol thanks for putting up with me that was the last one I promise!

No this is good! I like the idea of allowing third person for dodging. It's a neat idea because it allows them additional dodging ability, while taking away their ability to aim attacks, so it's a solid tradeoff.
