Been a while since I posted here. I've been re-working how I want this game to turn out along with a new look.

It's still going to be a "blobber with turn-based combat". I like blobbers...never cared for the real-time combat (Grimrock for instance).

The influence of this game is Everquest and Might and Magic series (along with tabletop D&D and the cRPGs inspired from it). I've been re-evaluating mechanics, how I want the story to be presented, crafting, skills, magic - the whole thing. It has taken some time (plus, full-time job, family, etc). I've been hammering out bugs and re-working the UI from an all menu based system to a more modern PC one. The menu-based system was going to allow for gamepad support; but, for a mouse and keyboard user, it was rather cumbersome.

With that said, I have a better focus. So, I am looking to get this on Steam Early Access (also, demo link for non-steam users) by the fall of this year (2018).

Here are a few samples from the new starting area that I've been working on. The trees are temporary - they don't fit in with the style that I want overall.
