From the 45 new Killing Floor 2 maps, modders have created for your enjoyment! The Judges from tripwire have made their selection, now its time to really turn up the gas and ensure your maps are polished to perfection for Phase 2 underway now! With the finale fast approaching lets recap how the competition will work from this point forward. On to the Phase 1 winners selection!
Phase 2 started December 7, 2015 and ends January 31, 2016. February 21, 2016. All submissions must be in by the deadline of January 31, 2016 6pm EST. February 21, 2016 6pm EST.
Your map must be uploaded to modDB & Workshop on or before this date.
Along with the Entry Form on the Contest site.
Rules update: You must now also upload your map to Steam Workshop aswell as ModDB to be eligible.

esp sence most of these maps have been ripped from other games i feel that that violates the terms

To answer other people's questions, yes, these mapping competitions generally add maps that win into the game as official maps.
im confused as to why the heck these are on mod db and not on the workshop.
you know the workshop thats ment to be for maps and mods that is being totally underused atm
That's because you can't upload anything to the workshop yet. They had it implemented as you know, but it had to be removed temporarily because of being to buggy.
