A free-roaming squad based RPG. Focusing on open-ended gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a mercenary, a business owner, a doctor, a bandit... the list goes on. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Purchase and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start up a business. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.

This proves what I said in the other picture. I don't know who is fighting what and who wins. That's not a bad thing, far from it, it's highly realistic. It just isn't fun for an RTS or tactics player to lose control as soon as melee begins because everything merges into a group of guys with tan shirts bashing each other. I'm just basing that on what I can currently see and I'm of course not assuming that's a 100% final outlook, I'm just saying that sometimes you need to give the player a hand and make it less realistic for accessability.
maybe they should add customizable icons over your people's heads like for mount and blade
...Or give the option of creating custom wear with different dyes to differentiate. Just Sayin'

what about faction color ? you can differentiate them with color..
