Second update,it's been a while since I started the project and as with many mods its been slow and due to some technical issues with Cryengine progress stopped for a while.Currently the project has been simplified a lot.I decided to focus on a much smaller set of goals and try to achieve a playable demo / tech demo that Jurassic park fan's will enjoy, once I've got to that stage I can look at the project and see where it goes next. You can now follow the project on facebook Facebook.com

I'm working at the moment on the visitor center ground floor, after that I 'm going to be looking a little at how to add some basic missions and maybe some sort of area events. Each time I add more area I want to try and sort some issues and just see how it goes so that if I ever want to stop working on it I can release it even if its unfinished.

Nice man, I'm really looking forward to playing this whether it's finished or not :) Will you ever be able to defend yourself against those raptors because I seem to recall you talking about how it wasn't going to be a shooter. Also thanks for the reply.

I don't plan on adding any guns,if anything I want to slow the players run down a bit. There's binoculars in the game and I want the player to use them and any time a raptor is spotted they keep away.

I think I would prefer that to being able to just fight them off now that I think about it. Keep up the good work man :)

Looking very fantastic by far! The landscape is just beautiful and looks like a paradise where I would like to spend time at but the sad part is the dinosaurs are running that place. lol Anyways I hope in this project we get to see the mighty t-rex who runs the island.
