Greetings indieDB community!
After having spent some time working hard on Hyper Gods, we are now finally ready to unveil more news on several features we have implemented in the game!
Starting off, Hyper Gods features completely redesigned gameplay, with a focus on fast-paced action, in a new take on the Shoot'em Up genre. Dizzying attacks, flashing lights and breakneck speed await you in this new 2D cinematic experience! But before we continue to describing what we've done, doesn't the proverb say that "images speak louder than words"? Here's a brand new set of screenshots of the current build of the game!
As you might have noticed from these screenshots, we are now foccused on the singleplayer experience of Hyper Gods. That will be the focus of the development team in the short term. However, we also wanted to continue to encourage competition between players, so we've implemented a Leaderboard system that allows you to compete with your friends on Hyper Gods' supremacy while recalling the glorious old days of the arcade experience. Who will be the one to whistand the power of the Gods?
Finally, we wanted to let you know what the future will bring to Hyper Gods. As such, you can find our fully updated Trello page here with what we are working on for our next update, v0.6!
