I recently got re-inspired to work on this, and realized that since the campaign mode is going to be a huge part of the final game, I need to really get started on it for the tactical RTS combat to make any sense.

I recently got re-inspired to work on this, and realized that since the campaign mode is going to be a huge part of the final game, I need to really get started on it for the tactical RTS combat to make any sense.

I have a handful of ideas for making a simplified, focused campaign mode that will hopefully take the 4X formula and boil it down to its essence. It is kind of lame to say "hey guys here's my ideas it's gonna be AWESOME" instead of just showing screenshots / videos / demos when the features are implemented so I will wait on disclosing things until they are done.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if I will have a public version out by the end of this year, but who knows, I will have a good deal of spare time during the holidays.
