Post news Report RSS Dev Update #3 - January '14: First Video Footage!

Our first big milestone has been reached and we will be moving into the deep core mechanics that will devise the remainder of our combat-based gameplay. The first playtest was a success and we captured some video to show you!

Posted by on

The first playtest just wrapped up and it was very successful. Rough and basic but it met all the requirements we set out to achieve. We focused heavily on networking and getting the framework created to make content creation upcoming in future pushes to be facilitated.

Programmers will begin working on the full-fledged combat system immediately and artists will begin working on the first battlefield map while character guys work on the next class to be announced at a later date.

We're picking up steam and are looking forward to bringing you all on board!

Here's some snippets of our first test on our 'Night Streets' level.

Looks good but the frame rate really kills your video, it doesnt do the animations justice, game lag or pc lag?

I accidentally used 15 fps settings in Camtasia. We got new video capture software that captures lossless at 30 so future videos will be not like this.

Anims are rough so far, but in the coming updates, future videos should have better video FPS and animation quality.

Thank you for watching and the feedback we want you guys to see it how it really appears.
