A strategic management game, best described as a sci-fi tower defence game with moving spaceships and configurable units. Design your own ships from a series of hulls+modular components, group the ships into a fleet, give the fleet orders and positions and then watch it engage in OTT gratuitous space battles against enemy fleets.

If you catch them at the wrong time the parasites are a race to be reckoned with. Every 200 years or so they travel the galaxy looking for new hosts, and we're not suggesting that this is a race that excels at making people feel welcome at parties. The hosts they are looking for will provide the much more vital role of keeping the parasites' immature larvae alive and prospering.
The parasites always go too far, they never did get the idea of mutualism and they never have pets (for long). So now they are venturing forth from their adopted home planet and in search of a cognate species which breeds freely and is able to give birth at least once per year, with a good growth rate and preferably (although a bit of crunch is acceptable) without an exoskeleton.They have had 198 years to upgrade their battle fleet in between breeding and snacking and now want to change the menu. Mmm how tasty are you?

I immediately got an segmentation fault, when I run it under linux after the splash screen is shown :-(
Any news on DLC?
When I start this game up, it gets stuck on the loading screen, the music plays but the game won't load. or so it seems. When I click, the game crashes. I reinstalled several times, what to do???
How about going into detail. Thats what you can do. In the support forums game devs often ask for complete DxDiag and you don't even tell the OS you use.
Does this version cotain any dlc? If not this is MUCH too expensive... If you sum-up you pay a full-price game and get a very small and limited casual stopgap.
Sure ... its one of the best linux titles, but this is just sad - nothing more...
I bought the game through the Bundle. Payed $30. Would love to get Desura keys and any DLCs for the game on Desura so I could buy them as well. Fun game by the way. :)

Get it on the Humble Bundle 4 for the next couple of weeks to get a Linux version, no Desura keys for the bundle as yet though (please please please add it, and I will increase my donation :)).
