Freebooter is a sandbox game set in a fantasy pirate world. Players will be able to explore, pirate, trade and ingratiate themselves with the factions of the game. The game relies heavily on procedural generation to create varied and interesting content.
Jakob has been fiddling with shaders a bit, resulting in this height based lighting effect.
I prefer the shader one since it looks more colorful and more contrasts, for example; the trees (and really everything) are standing out more from each other. Keep up the good work, this looks like an interesting project.
