great progress on that sweet coversystem, and this clip gives a good premonition of things to come! i especially like how he's constantly moving slightly, underlines the battlefield good, imho (although in that demo-map it looks kinda odd ;))

Looks more like Killzone 2's cover system and that game was awesome so I CANNOT WAIT for the next demo if there will be one.
I think RO2 will allow you to blind fire from cover which will mean blind fire WILL ACTUALLY BE BLINDFIRE!!

It's not how I would have done the first person cover system, but I like it all the same. I'm looking forward to the next demo. Hopefully I'll have a machine that can play it then XD.

Very cool, I have been waiting to see how/if you would implement a cover system.
And I am glad that you have now reduced the recoil on the scope. Hopefully that will make it significantly more effective than it used to be.

This is not the same cover system as gears of war, this build has no gears of war source codes what so ever.

First first person game I've seen to use a first person cover mechanic, most games just switch it over to third.

Killzone 2 has a first person cover system. infact, killzone 2, gameplay-wise, has been a huge insperation for this project.

Just an idea but would you be able to make it 3rd person when in cover mode. this helps because you can see what your about to shoot at behind the wall. if your not sure what I'm talking about take a look at Rainbow Six Vegas gameplay. C: not saying your have to but it would be a good idea.
Im pretty sure he is going for a immersive first person experience. Third person cover system would seriously break the atmosphere, just as it did in Rainbow Six Vegas.
