you would not be able to look down the scope at that angle. Because there are multiple lenses at work in a telescopic sight, then they must all be lined up in order for someone to see out of it. Even look at a microscope, it's the same thing, you need to look straight on at the ocular lens so you can see through the other one and thus see all of the small stuff.
well, at that angle, you could see some of it, but it would be offset
Just seems like you should fix that in the future.
The scope is electronic. the sights on the scope are holographic and the parallax in the holosights line up to let the user know they are looking straight down. it's not a sniper scope so the offset of the lens is not a big deal for the range it's designed for. just like a laser sight on the side of a barrel is offset.
