Object interaction

So, this week I got a new inventory and a neat interaction system implemented in the game. I have always been fascinated by exploration and the ability to be able to interact with the environment in games. It adds to the atmosphere. New possibilities to add simple but fun puzzles becomes viable. For example, if you are searching for a code to a door, you can find it on the backside of a letter or something similiar.

Inventory

The inventory is pretty basic for now, but we got an inventory. You can pick up items, combine them and use them.

Overall progression

The game is coming along really well now. I am working almost every day. The downside is that I had to cut down the game to a smaller one because it takes time to make games, especially when you are working alone. For a while I had a hard time getting a clear image of what I wanted the game to be, but now it feels solid and I know what to focus on to make progress.

I hope you like what you see and if you have any questions or anything, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer.
