The all-new revised free version of Env is available

Posted by on

Good afternoon All,

The new versions of Env are up! I've replaced the old downloads so just pick the one for your current operating system, download, and enjoy!

I'd love to get some feedback from you all about the game, and if you played the old version, then on the changes to it as well. Please leave comments or send me a PM with your impressions if you feel up to it, and let me know about any issues you get playing the game.

This version has a slightly different focus, which should better represent what the final game will be about. I've tried to more explicitly express the theme of the game which is a bit of an experiment for me. Finding the right balance between expressing the theme through the mechanics of the game and just straight-up throwing in the players face is an extremely difficult but interesting problem. I don't think I did enough in the first version to get the theme across, so this version tries to address that.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Men, it's f...g awesome! Unearthly atmosphere and "tools" in sky made this game better than it was before. Also this pink-like "something" in sea made games like good science-fiction movie!
Difference between previous version and current - now it's lot easier to get drops. New feature - I may jumu really hiiiigh and what is best - land on fragments taken out by "solar knife".
Now I will try to finish it.
One more time I will write: AWESOME.
