Happy, exhausted and satisfied Teutonic Studios, a hobby game development team, can finally present the new demo version of Empires and Tribes.
The update contains about 350 working hours, a lot of coffee and a lot of love for detail. Minor improvements and changes are not listed here as they would go beyond the scope of this update. The most important features of the new version at a glance are:3D-Added new building models for the dwellings
-Terrain Engine updated: new textures, foliage shader optimization, day night cycle improved
-Improved Lighting (light transport, reflections)

-Added legislation and contentment system
-Added random quest system
-Added strike on buildings
-Pathfinding tile size adjustment: reduced the pathfinding map computing time to one-fourth
-Spatial flood fill algorithm included: pathfinding optimized when handling huge areas
-Pathfinding: non-walkable areas like islands will be removed automatically
-Player start movement bug fixed
-Reduced wave speed of rivers
-Backup function to reset player position addedHUD-Added new buttons in the main menu
-Added selection rectangle for street and wall destruction
