With a little more work comes a little more reward, and Don't Be Dinner is showing it. So what has been added?
Blue Knight Audio - The blue knight's audio is nearly completely implemented, with only 1 line left to record and implement. All files were recorded, mastered, and implemented to play alongside their correct spot in the dialogue tree.
Dialogue Tree Choices - Choices and the on-screen dialogue have been fully reworked and even though there aren't many early screens of the original styles, here's a snap of the new version:
Notice the dialogue on the top and the choices on the bottom. While the original style we had implemented was nice, it wasn't friendly to potential touch and mobile platforms. All the choice options have been rewritten to support selection by clicking so touch controls should be a snap to implement. Notice a little work needs to be done yet and some changes are still incoming.
Loading Screen - Loading screens have been added, a simple addition but very useful. In fact, the loading screen has been modified into the first Don't Be Dinner wallpaper!
A lot of behind the scenes considerations are being made about the platforms DBD will target along with the creation of a backlog of items to finish. The temporary plan for release platforms include: iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Playstation Mobile (depending on the official release date of the PSM Unity plugin).
