Don't Be Dinner is an interactive piece of fiction where you are a medieval knight approaching a monstrous troll in a dark forest. Whether you are blue, yellow, or green, quest to save the princess, steal the troll's gold, or simply determine the meaning of life, two choices decide your fate. With 45 different endings and dozens of ways to die, two choices were never more important. Your quest is simple: Don't Be Dinner.

After some work over the weekend, the game currently has the 3 game states actively working. This means when you start the game you see the Main Menu screen shown in the recent audio demo video. Hitting Enter takes you to the character selection screen where you have the choice of the 5 characters. Here's a screenshot with the 4 unlockable characters darkened in their 'locked' state:

There are quite a few things to add to this screen and to improve on but it's a good start. Eventually this screen will have some more information as to the darkened characters, selecting a knight, etc... Also, the landscape and background objects need work yet.

The final state kicks in once you pick a character; the game continues to the fire scene (screens showing the fire and the troll) and begins the dialogue tree for that character.
