A real time tactics game, concentrating on the combat elements of space battles. Or, when looking from a different perspective, a shoot-em-up with several units to handle. New ships come with new abilities, allowing the player to change his play-style during the game. With time there will be – incremental AI difficulty, fully randomized maps and bonuses and even more ships to choose from.

Added text based level editor - now you can create your own levels. The level editor is quite ugly, but it gets the job done. Also changed some textures and added a new boss battle, a new ship and a lot of other stuff. To play, extract the files and open "Distant Home Star" inside the extracted folder. For level editor open "Dhs level editor". You can play the created levels by opening the game and in the title menu go "custom maps".
