In 1995, Andrew Connor's fiance was hit and killed by a car after she frantically ran out into the road from the nearby forest. It was clear that she had been spooked by something, but no one could figure out what. Since no evidence of foul play was found, the case was eventually marked as solved and archived by the police. Andrew was not happy with this though. His home town was full of mysteries, and now he found himself right in the middle of one of them. He knew that there had to be more to the story, so he began to search for answers on his own. However, he might just get more than he bargained for with this investigation.

Collect Evidence
Things like police case files are rarely served on a silver platter to however asks for them. It will be up to you to get the evidence you need to solve this mystery, and that includes doing things that aren't necessarily legal. Lock picking and trespassing are just some of the things you will end up doing on your quest for answers.

Investigate
Existing evidence can only get you so far. In some cases, you will need to go out and find new clues to help make sense of older ones. Once you have collected enough clues, you can use your trusty cork board to link everything together.

Don't Get Caught
Throughout your investigation, you will encounter people who won't be too happy with you poking around where you shouldn't be. You will have to exercise caution to ensure that you don't end up in jail, or worse. Stealth won't always be required, but you should be ready for when it is. There will be times where you will have to balance completing your current task, and creating as little noise as possible.

Solve the Mystery
You are on your own when it comes to solving this mystery, if there even is a mystery to solve. Is it all in your head, or is there something that everyone else missed?

Interesting! Do you have any footage of the gameplay yet, or is it just concept images at this point? I’t would be neat to see more; I didn’t know Blender had it’s own game engine.

Hey there! Your observations are correct, I do not yet have gameplay footage available for the game. However, I am working on what I call the "bedroom demo". It is not only the very beginning of the game, but it will also be used to test and tweak performance and compatibility on different systems. Now, about the engine and concept images. First off, it is true, Blender does indeed have a game engine! Secondly, those concept images were pre-rendered 3d images that were a part of the original version of the game (before the engine change). So for the purposes of the new version of the game, the current images are indeed concept images, but they did actually used to be a part of the game in its old engine. Finally, I can promise you that there will be more. I put a lot of thought into it before I announced the game and created a project page for it. I do not plan on abandoning it.

UPDATE: The game has been switched back to Multimedia Fusion 2 by Clickteam, I just didn't like working with BGE and didn't feel I'd be able to make the game the way I wanted to make it.
