Defect is a game of building spaceships to destroy other spaceships. And then destroying spaceships that you've previously built, with new ships… Which you’ll have to destroy later. Part construction game and part combat game, you take on the role of commander in the Suppressed Systems Navy. Tasked with defending a planet the whole universe wants a piece of. You’ll need to construct ships in the space dock before heading out to fight waves of greed crazed prospectors and opportunists Upgrading your shipyard with each victory, you will graduate from constructing tiny fights to ships the size of small planets. Sounds easy, yeah? But the biggest problem you face is your own men defecting the moment they think your latest ship is good enough to break the blockade!

After seven months of constant development in Early Access, Three Phase Interactive have announced that Defect v1.0 will be released July 28.

A new trailer for Defect has been released announcing that it is coming out of Early Access on July 28. Defect is a spaceship building and fighting strategy/action game with traitorous crew. v1.0 promises to add fighting against friend's ship designs and the campaign finale.

Defect is currently available on Steam in Early Access.
