And finally Dédale is out on Mac and Windows! Grab the desktop version on Desura now! Regarding a Linux version, it is going to be released once Unity 4 is out, and yes, there is going to be a Linux version, because I'm a strong believer in unity of the desktop platforms.

While the Windows/Mac version is out today, Dédale for iOS is still on the AppStore and is going to get a major update with GameCenter support and other awesome things very soon. It is grabbable right here: Itunes.apple.com

Also, another thing you all should know. If I get at least 200 purchases for the desktop version of Dédale, I am going to roll out an update that will allow anyone and everyone to create and share their own puzzles. This update will be included on all the platforms, and levels will be cross-compatible. Best of them will be featured on the website for anyone to see. So if you are interested in this sort of thing, please spread the news.

Finally, the free iOS version is on its way (within a few days will be on the AppStore). Mac/Windows demo is coming as well, probably later today.

Hi, this is an interesting game, particularly as you get to the later levels with different tile types. I have encountered one problem with it however:

The game will not launch from the Desura client. It installs and verifies fine, however the Desura client cannot handle the é character in the Dédale.exe file name. So instead it has dedale.exe in the launch path. If you try to fix this by pasting Dédale.exe in as the file name, the client still replaces the é with an e.

You can simply rename the Dédale.exe file to dedale.exe in the \Program Files\Desura\Common\dedale folder to fix this, but it may cause problems if this program is ever updated. Note also that if you do that you will need to rename the Dédale_Data directory to Dedale_Data.

You can also launch Dédale.exe directly from \Program Files\Desura\Common\dedale or I assume create your own shortcut. Only launching the game from the Desura client is a problem.

The demo is not doing justice to the game. Instead of allowing the first few un-inspired levels play, the demo should give a broader view of the richness of the game special tiles in later levels.
There are tons of freeware games available on the net with levels similars to the ones available in your demo ; you should highlight what makes yours truly different.

@on_code We already did, but no response so far! (cc @rockpapershot @bonzrat @jimrossignol) I guess they have no time with #E3 and all that.

@on_code Interesting idea. We will look into that.

Jun 11 2013, 11:12am

@on_code I see. At any rate, the final version of the game won't be browser-based, so this will go away. Thanks for letting me know though!
