Darkness Inside The Light is a game about Horror, survival, and escape. You play as a man, known as experiment #1642, Who wakes up in a containment cell unaware of Who he is, where he is, and why he's there. As you play the game, you will encounter Horrific Experiments and creations. Along with these experiments, you'll find documents that help explain what these things are, who you are, and why you're there. Now, to be clear, this isn't a cheesy Jump scare game. There ARE jumpscares though. However, How scary they really are depends on the player. As I continue making this game, I will release Demo builds whenever I make improvements I Consider to be major. Note that the Storyline is NOT IMPLEMENTED, and will be in the next big update. BIG NOTE: IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE GAME AND DO NOT READ THE "README": YOU MUST PRESS CTRL TO OPEN THE DOORS, NOT ENTER. If more people want this done, I will. This started as just a hobby but now I'm motivated and if you want it, you got it.

Hey all!
yeah, it's been... Many months.
Many many many.
I apologize. And there's not much to show for it either unfortunately. Just getting out of School you'd think I'd have started working tremendously on the game but alas, I haven't. At all.
I'm a let down, I know.
I don't really have an excuse for this; I've just been extremely lazy.
I plan on throwing in a bit of money for something extra to make things loads easier on myself, considering I'm the only one that has even tried and been able to work on the game.
I do want this game to happen; It was something I wanted to complete, and will be something I complete eventually. Even if it turns out to be less than what I had imagined.
I'm unfortunately not that skilled in game development, so I may not be able to fulfill all of my desires with the game. That being the case, I'll probably cut some things from the project itself.
That being said, I apologize for a lack of an update. I'll be working on the game today a bit since I quite frankly finally feel motivated enough to get back on it at least for a bit.
At this point currently, I can't tell when the game will be completed, and I can' tell how much will be in the actual game.
Rest assured, there will be a game.
I just can't and won't promise anything regarding the content of the game currently.
I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.
Thanks for sticking around if you are still around, and I hope people still look forward to seeing this game completed at some point in time.
