Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.
We've added a CPR system (revival system basically) for when players dies.

sorry for the noob,but is for Steam or No steam?
No Steam Half-Life is usually pirated these days. I don't understand why either, as you can easily pirate the Steam version and play mods with it...though anyone who even calls themselves a gamer should own HL1 at the very least.
I agree a true gamer should at least have the classics.
Is HL is almost free? I do not understand people who still think of HL in the category of nonsteam. You can have this game in few possibilities:
1) buy it on Steam
2) buy HL generation (have cs1.6)
3) buy HL anthology
4) buy it on ebay
5) buy Gunamn Chronicles and register on steam (hl generation key)
Half Life is only 9€ on steam. Yeah its almost nothing. Any gamer should have this awesome game...
Edit: I have Half Life Anthology, its only 12€ on Steam... for more 3€ you get all HL expansions...

On sale I bought it for ~1,5€, actually I bought whole anthology for less than 5€ (i.e. a price for a couple of non-imported beers in our country).

and it seems that you dont get it, that you dont need a credit card to buy things on steam. you can also pay using paysafecard (which is a prepaid card you can buy from many stores)

I bought my WON Version on 25th November 1998 and Half-Life 1 - Anthology on 5th January 2006. I still prefer the WON version for messing around with own stuff.
I had owned OB from the beginning more or less, but I bought HL1 when it was on sale for 0.99 USD on the tenth anniversary.
I actually thought about spending that on a drink later at ball practice but **** that was the best 99 cents I've ever spent. EVER.

They are using m16s instead of AK5s, might as well give them a New York police hat if you're going to arbitrary trade one realistic piece of equipment for another.
Thats doesn't make any sense! What if they just happened to stumble upon M16s instead of AK5s? The hat is a part of their uniform, and besides, it's not really such a big deal!
New york police hats and swedish police uniforms would look like absolute **** btw. Some things should not be mixed!

well don't make my opinion like an offence please. i just say "change those hats", you can take it or not, i think it will be better with helmets, another thing i am thinking, is adding to their clothes a torn and dirty aspect, remeber they are not in wonderland. some scars to faces, some vands on his arms i guess. there are to many ways to take the game to another instance.

Turning on friendly fire is only good when you play a teamgame with bots that might get stuck here and there and need some "help".

Epic. But I'd like it if CPR couldn't save people's lives in every case. Maybe for drowning, and stuff, but if I shoot somebody with a tank, CPR shouldn't be possible. Great job either way! The sky's the limit with you guys.
