Choose a hero and take control of your group in a story full of bloody battles between Cangaceiros (outlaws) and Volantes (the police) in the convoluted backlands in the late 19th century. Pick your side, equip your group and eliminate all menaces with weapons, power-ups, and sacred amulets.

Surviving in Cangaço is no easy task! To overcome the challenges, you'll need to plan the best combat strategy and manage the best combination of skills, attributes and equipment, besides collecting supplies such as water, liquor, sugar-cane bars, etc...

However, in the backlands that is not enough. Make your opponents vulnerable by telling him to go to that sh*t place, and ask for God's protection which, depending on your faith, can make all the difference in your battles.

Your are also not alone. Customise your companions according to your strategy and multiply your chances to achieve the goals and survive the battles. Each one in the group is important to your victory, so be aware and remember to protect all of them, or you'll easily become Carcará's (a bird of prey) food.

The art in Cangaço is also unique, as all game textures (characters, terrain blocks, vegetation, etc) are painted by hand with color pencil, creating a beatiful pallete and truly original visuals. We developed our own technique to produce these textures, achieving amazing results.
