Bots Invaders is a third person shooter where the player takes part in an interplanetary robotic conflict between two factions. Once you choose the faction you must fight with it in the war that envelops the entire system. Each faction has different types of robots at your service, you must choose your type of robot and created from it, your own character.

-Complete Customization: From head to arms and colors all can be customized to suit the player.

-Complex damage model: The damage model does not work with the typical life bar, each hit can damage internal components of the robot making it increasingly weak and vulnerable.

-Weapons system and ammunition: You can choose which weapons and ammunition carry for your needs or the type of role that you want to have.

-System-progression and skills: Level system and skills that allow you to customize the robot and make it unique.

-Dynamic missions: Missions system that will be different depending of the war situation.

First steps

After a week, the project has advanced considerably. It is still early and there is not much to see, but the game is taking shape gradually. My intention in this first week was creating and developing the foundation that will support the whole structure of the game and the truth is that I am satisfied with the current result. But this was only the beginning, the bases are not yet completed, will have to wait several weeks of development more in order to begin to shape the project, but now with a good finish base that will do the job more easy.

- Base character: One of the main objectives of this week was setting up and configuration for a base model. This goal has been reached 100% and even more, because has been developed a controller for the player can handle it, with keyboard and mouse, the robot.

- Animation system: This part of the development is linked to the previous point, but needed to have a special mention. The objective here was to implement the base of the animation system to use with the base character and, as above, this objective has been achieved 100%.

- Customization System: This section is one of the things that began to develop first. The customization system is a fact, at least the initial part. The player can change the colors of all parts of the robot, and switch between the type of arms and weapons that he want to carry.

- Particle system: One of the most fun things to do and program, has been the system of particles, it is very versatile, with the ability to achieve a lot of different effects. Although future need minor repairs, the system is fully functional.

- Weapon system and ammunition: I have implemented different types of preliminary ammunition by type of weapon. The function is correct although this section still needs some work.

- Test map: Not that it's something really important and still is not quite finished, but I have made ??a test map and in the future it is likely to be used much, so I had to mention it. .

And this is what has brought the first week of development, it is quite summary and it has a lot of work and lines of code.
