Description

Blackout is a dark themed Choose your own adventure game, influenced by White Wolf’s World of Darkness, H.P. Lovecraft and weird shows like Twin Peaks. You play as a man who finds himself lost in a dark street somewhere in the city of New Wenders. It doesn’t take long before you start having flashbacks and regaining your memory. Something terrible happened, and you were part of it. This event somehow opened your eyes to a whole new world that has been hiding beneath the shadows.

History

After growing up playing RPG and being a GM for many years I developed a passion for creating stories and worlds for players to explore, so I decided to couple that with my passion for dark and weird stories like the work of H. P. Lovecraft and Twin Peaks.

I also wanted to make it different from the regular Choose Your Own Adventure games, no dice rolls or early game over states, which results in a story with a significant amount of branching paths. In Blackout, your choices not only change the path within each chapter, but also affect the order of the chapters itself.
