BIONITE: Origins™ is an upcoming, futuristic, first-person shooter & real-time strategy hybrid for the PC and iOS platforms. The core gameplay consists of piloting hovertanks in first-person, destroying other tanks or structures, commanding your squad to attack/defend certain targets, and a full strategy mode with base-building in the Strat game-mode.

New Backer Rewards, New Videos, and New Screenshots of Venus.
We have been burning the candle at both ends lately! Our IndieGoGo Listing is just about ready to launch and were just about to release our final Alpha, Revision 10. Check out the new content below, the Backer Rewards are only available to our IndieGoGo Backers. The Rewards are a one time opportunity to get some cool BIONITE stuff and the videos will get everyone up to speed with where we are in the development process. Very very nice! I really like the alpha footage - except the "land razorpromo600" footage doesn't seem to have ANY audio. I understand having no in-game audio if there actually isn't any ATM (after all, it IS an alpha right now!), but given how there's music in the "CobraPromo15" video, it seems...off.
The interview video with the Project Lead seemed...awkward, somehow. I suppose it's because the fellow seemed like he was reading from a script (not the word I'd use, but the only one I can think of ATM), and the way he spoke and his facial expression seemed to betray a sense of awkwardness. It got so bad for me that I stopped watching the interview around 1:25. It's a shame, too - the information he was talking about was interesting!
Also, good luck getting funded on IndieGoGo! I've heard it's significantly harder to get funded there than Kickstarter, but if you don't have offices in the US or UK (Kickstarter recently added support for the latter), you can't crowdfund through Kickstarter - which, from what I've heard, is the main reason, if not the only one, why most non-US companies/groups/etc choose a Kickstarter alternative.
