I have to do many researches about the Greek. It's an intriguing era. People devoutly worshiped their Gods daily, simultaneously, rational thinking were always in their mind. I can feel the self-confidence of the Greek citizens at the BC 5th century. Their mental states were totally different from the people living in the middle age. They were so smart and their mind would never be confined. It was an amazing era.
Another reason also attracts me, the democracy. Although it excluded the women and slaves. I am not sure why any RTS is ignoring such interesting element. In "b.c.500", it will be an crucial element not just increasing the challenge, it is a core for the entire stuff. You can nearly do nothing if your citizens dislike you.
Also, Greek citizens would appreciate naked body. Why I should draw a bunch of heavy armors with ornamental decorations? No, in contrast, I will present the naked men, as Greek culture does, at least at the warriors.
And a controversial issue maybe appear. Yes, the gay. But it would go too far, right?
