Army of Pixels 2 is a fantasy strategy, where the player places armies in order to counter the other player's armies. It has a lot of units, many special abilities, and a fun, unique gameplay.
Army of Pixels, the first version of this game, was a nice learning project for us. It got into Steam, and was a huge morale boost to our team.
Sadly it also had many flaws, a niche artistic direction, a somewhat messy code base, and a lot of the mobile game restrictions.
This time we are aiming for a fully fleshed out game, and we will have everything that is missing from AoP1:
- actual 3d graphics
- a real campaign mode
- a fun unit unlocking mechanism
- multiplayer!
