"Anna" is an adventure game designed to analyze what the player does and react around his behavior. It features three ending according to how much the character has gone deep into madness. The more you play, the more you find, but to really discover everything, you'll have to lose yourself. With the game, you'll also get the main character's notepad, giving you more insights on the plot, and the original Soundtrack.

We're very proud to announce "Anna - Extended Edition"!
"Anna - Extentended Edition" enhance and reviews every single element in "Anna", from the interface, to the gameplay, the puzzles, the environments and the game length.
The game is now more than twice as long as before! We've carefully listened to you and we've reviewed all the puzzles, added PLENTY more, reviewed the way we deliver the story, expanded it and completely reviewed the interface. We've also added the "intuition" system: you can now combine ideas and thoughts.
And all this goodness will come to you free of charge if you already bought "Anna"!
We've prepared a nice live-shot trailer: hope you'll enjoy it!

If you are looking for intense atmosphere in a slow-pace adventure game, this is what you should be getting. Speed varies on your intellect and courage. Those that have experience with old style point and click games combining stuff with eachother, will probably get through this with little effort... However, that's only for the game mechanics. The scare mechanics are a completely different cup of tea, from randomisations to complete and utter make overs of your surroundings, something very little…

The puzzles are baffling and unintuitive. This game is literally impossible to "beat" unless you use a guide or walkthrough. The controls are horrible and you can't control the mouse sensitivity. It's impossible to perform the delicate movements necessary to click on the burning root instead of the giant cutout it's contained in. The story itself is nothing but more pretentious indie tripe that could mean just about anything but honestly means absolutely nothing. It is baffling that this game's…

@Digital_CHE @GOGcom That's what we're saying :( Last year we did some youth mistakes: sent them a too early version and they rejected.

After playing the new version for a few hours (got stuck on a puzzle) I discovered a menu glitch in that I can't Quit the game, clicking "Yes" simply does nothing. To close the program I have to Alt+Tab and close it via Task Manager. Not a huge deal, anyone else got this problem?
Yep, got the same thing.
Does this game still required you to be logged into a Kalypso account?
I would buy it if not for this.
Then definitely buy it from here, just launched the Extended Edition and I can confirm it's still DRM-free, no Kolypso accounts or otherwise.
Actually, just noticed the Desura version doesn't seem to be the Extended Edition.
Does the MacGameStore version have the Kalypso Account thing?
WHY IS NOTHING SIMPLE?
:/
Don't worry, it is the Extended Edition, the Desura version has been updated to Extended just recently.
And it is diffrent from Steam, on there You have both the Steam DRM and Kalypso account requirement, the Desura version seems fully DRM-free. I never registered anything with Kalypso, I didn't have to login anywhere. Runs normally offline as well :)
Cool! Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the response.
My understanding is that the game requires a login to an online service first time you start. After that, you won't see another login prompt and won't notice anything unless you are offline. In that case game won't start.
Steams still says "Requires a Kalypso Account". Is the Desura version different? Does the game start ok if you disable your internet?
IT IS OUT :DDDD
I'm loosing faith... :(
