The Spartan King Leonidas is accompanied by his Spartiate bodyguard and their Helot squires as he converses with two allied Hellene scouts near the edge of a forest. The Spartiates and their king are in full campaign gear, with bronze corinthian helmets topped by the famous Lacedaemonian transverse crest, bronze muscled cuirasses and bronze greaves. Each is armed with an 8-foot dory (spear) and famous lambda-emblazoned aspis (shield). * They will be one of the most powerful, yet expensive infantry in the game. Their "Helot" squires are represented by a troop of Basic Infantry Spearmen (hoplites) and Infantry Javelinists (peltasts).
