Howdy. I posted this in another thread but figured it would be smarter to post into the actual recruitment forum. I'm new here, just looking to get some experience volunteering for various projects. I use blender, previously having used 3ds max. Comfortable with static objects and vehicles. Here are a few examples of what I've worked on.

Can be reached on skype at cdhilbert@outlook.com\

Thanks for taking a look. :)

I need some assets done for my project, and I will happily credit you for your work. It's in my sig. I could give you more information if you drop me a message here.

Finished work on another project. Just made through some basic tutorials, but I think it came out pretty well.

Thanks for wasting my time

Sorry you feel that your time was "wasted", considering you spent little of it actually discussing the project with me. Pointing me to a website, saying that you want this done, and then questioning me not two hours later on whether or not I had started yet isn't very professional.

Plus, it's difficult to work with someone when they can't even put a proper sentence together. Sorry man, it's just not a good fit.

Nice looking stuff and I'm sure some teams will be happy to have you. :)

You can ignore chaoscauser, everybody else does.

You asked me what two questions? a conversation is a two way thing not my fault you can't strike up a good conversation. Time wasting is also not very professional. There was nothing to discuss either . I can't put a proper sentence together are you joking?

Maybe I was busy working in other aspects of the game? Did you think of that? If you had another question you should of just asked it simple as that.

Chaoscauser, you need to realize that this guy doesn't have any obligation whatsoever to throw himself at your project. Nor is he going to be pumping out artwork within a few hours.

I'd also like to say that he doesn't have any obligation to answer your email within a few hours. Nor within even a day - or even a week. Actually, he has no obligation to answer your email at all, ever. He could send that email to his trash bin and forget it ever existed, and that's perfectly fine.
And another thing - even if he does jump on your project, these kinds of things take days AT LEAST for an artist to produce, not hours. The higher the quality, the longer it will take.

And hopping online and saying such passive aggressive things like "Thanks for wasting my time", you come across as someone I would never consider working with.

Chaos you do understand even in the real world, people don't have to take the job even if they took the interview. I don't see Human Resource in the professional industry sent email to the guy and say thanks for wasting their time if the guy don't take the offer. In your case I doubt your offer is anything but attractive.

For you to say it is not professional to waste people's time, I think your unneeded comment is more unprofessional.

Hey guys. Thanks for the support. I've been on vacation and haven't been able to keep up on all this.

Cheers!
