While I am still in High School, I'm still trying to expand my skills with 3D Modeling. While I can just practice in my free time and try to learn more and more with the softwares I'm using. I'd like to get onto a development team unpaid and learn more and more over time. I think just being on a development team with other people helping myself, and me helping them it will help me learn.

I've been using 3ds MAX for two years, I have a good year worth of experience. Still not as fluent as some full time 3d modelers, but I can make up a few things.

Hi Dexxu,

Me too i am looking for development team to create game, i use Blender and learn to day by day to make it better in modelling and animation. I know c++ but can't create a game as effectively, sure i am missing some thing as complete for full 3d engine. So we can exchange for 3D and game if you want.

Well I mean I am completely restricted to 3d modeling.

Hello Dexxu,

If you like, we're looking into working with a 3D modeler ourselves.

Thing is though that it will be textured with pixel art on top of it all for in-game purposes.

The 3D's will also be used for casting in-game shadows.
Feel free to drop me a PM.

This is the project: Indiedb.com

Good luck,

All of or artists can model and also do something else, so if you want to really do this as a worthwhile hobby or potentially a career, you'll need to learn how to texture.

You can get away with not knowing animation, but you'll be expected to be able to UV & texture your own models most of the time.
