Highly Capable Sound Designer/Musician Thread

My name is James Parker and I am a capable Sound Designer/Editor and Musician adept in most audio software. My primary expertise is with Pro Tools, Adobe Audition CC and CS6, Logic Pro 8 – 10, and Samplitude Pro X2 Suite. I was fortunate enough to study at Staffordshire University, and I have since been able to work in Independent Game Start-ups, Radio Stations, and Post Production Companies. Due to this, my experience has been wonderfully diverse.

I am able to take charge in all roles from Sound FX Design, Foley, Music Composition, and Surround Sound mixing. My work experience with Jazz FM and One Media Radio involved recording live sessions, editing pre-recorded sound and converting audio from analogue to digital formats. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to travel during which I had the pleasure to meet the Sound Manager for the prestigious Park Road Post-Production Studios (owned by Peter Jackson) and earned the highest compliments upon hearing my independent work. I was even offered a position on a project at the facility.
