Hello! My name is Tom, and I recently came up with a few ideas for a music/rhythm game that I would like to make. The only problem is.. I can't program and I can't do artwork, so I need some developers that can do these things to make these ideas a reality.

You can hear some of my music here: Soundcloud.com

The developers I am currently in need of are:

~ Programmers, I'm not picky about which programming language you use as long as you know what you're doing. I will most likely go with whatever the first programmer decides to use if I end up with more than one.

~ Artists, no pixel artists please.

~ Concept artists.

~ Composers, I don't want to have to do all the music myself, the more composers the merrier. :)

There are more positions that may or may not be needed depending on what program we make the game in, for example 3D modelers. If I am in need of these, I will add them to the list.

Here is the pastebin of the short brainstorm I did: Pastebin.com

Any help is greatly appreciated. If you would like to be a part of this project, pm me or add me on skype (tom.gillow).

How would you summarize your game concept in one sentence? or one paragraph?

Your brainstorming is a good start, but most people would need more info to sign on.

Do you have a sense of what engine or platform you feel would suit your concept?

How long have you been making music?

Hello and thank you for replying to my post.

My game is a rhythm game where notes come from both the top and the bottom of the screen, to reach the two sets of receptors in the middle. There is currently no story to go with the game, but there may be one in the future if I feel like it's needed. The reason why I wouldn't have a story is because a lot of rhythm games out there do not have one. There are multiple modes that you can play and a variety of difficulty levels, where you come across lots of note types and try to get the highest score possible.

I don't really know which engine would suit my concept, but I have a sense that I would want it to be made in a 2D engine, although a 3D engine would also work. I want the game to run on PCs.

As for music, it's been a thing that I've liked since I was young. I've played multiple instruments in my life such as piano and drums and over the last couple of years I have been composing various pieces. These have been for school, game projects and sometimes just fun. The main genres that I enjoy are electronic and various techno sub-genres.
