[w]tech combines next generation technologies like full dynamic lighting, voxel based terrain and bullet physics, which are brought to you via a self-explanatory user interface. We are thinking in innovative ways to combine the available technologies and ideas to an edgeless package. Report RSS [w]tech - Simple Motion-Blur and "Level of Detail"

First feature presented in the video is a simple Motion-Blur for smoothing the camera movement. Second feature is a technique called "Level of Detail" which means that you can define different detail-levels for each mesh which are rendered at a certain distance. This enables you to save much polygons in later games.

New video about a simple Motion-Blur effect and the integration of a technique called "Level of Detail":

We have created a small testroom for presentation and a donut model to show the switching between different detail-levels of the mesh. Lower levels of detail were generated with MeshLab!

the real name of the engine is Waynetech and you are BatmanĀ°^!

I like this engine, the LOD is smooth enough, though it could load faster. Idk how the lag is with a lot of meshes turning lods at the same time. But the doughnut is a good example too. Round and shiny on the outside makes it easier to spot LOD shift, so the result of this rant:
Wayntech Engine is very nice, keep it up!

Waynetech lol. Well, actually there is no loading of those LOD-Meshes. They are loaded with the actual mesh, we are not streaming them ATM. This would be a nice addition for later, but currently it's just a rendering optimization.

Streaming for Levels and Content is on the list, though.
