RunServer middleware is a toolkit and a core for realtime server application development, including but not limited to MMO games server development, real time broadcasting soutions, etc. RunServer itself is developed in .Net Framework allowing both Windows and multi-platform hosts with Mono Framework. Modern techniques and own technologies provides high efficiency even on low-end server hardware. Multithreaded processing with loading balancing reveals true performance of multicore and multiprocessor equipment. RunServer contains time-proven network libraries, connectors for all modern relational databases, and hi-level game logic solutions such as collective actions system, update system, dynamic map management system, etc.
RunServer was officialy founded in 2008 while first server app development (MMO game server) was started in late 2004. Our middleware with modern RDBMS and clustering have proven support of 2500+ online players per cluster node and modern multi-core hardware should raise that amount to 5-7 thousands connections per server.
