Description

RatDog Games is an independent game studio based out of Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The studio was founded in the Spring of 2011 when a group of friends bonded over a love of gaming and aspirations to put their mark on the industry. Since then we've made it our focus to create highly polished games with compelling narratives that everyone can enjoy.

History

RatDog Games was founded during the inaugural Pax East event in 2011. Three close friends decided to attend the event but left with a new-found desire to create their own game studio. In 2011 mobile gaming had a low barrier for entry and was a market with immense appeal. This is where they decided to start. Due to being a newly founded developer each founder went on to work on such projects as Kingdoms of Amular and Bioshock Infinite while developing mobile prototypes. While experimenting in 2011/2012, RatDog Games released three mobile games with its initial team. Kozmos would go on to be downloaded nearly 500,000 times and provide the team with enough revenue to focus on realizing their dreams of creating more fully featured experiences.

Since switching from mobile to PC / Console development RatDog Games has undergone a number of changes. The team has been revamped under the direction of it's founder Andrew DeSilva. The team has grown from three individuals to 5+ and are focused on creating Gunnhildr and Drykkur for multiple gaming platforms.
